Among all the subjects I encountered, it was the flocks of pigeons that drew me in. Unlike other birds, they didn’t flee—some even approached me. Up close, they seemed both grotesque and beautiful. Their movements as a group reminded me of human behavior, and I couldn’t stop pressing the shutter.
